Week 7

Craig Skinner Nick Braden
Belgian Wiffles Thunder Ducks
Pitching Stats for the Week:
7 IP,   0 H,   0 BB,   0 R,   20 K

Those numbers speak for themselves, but someone else needs to mention them, too. Skinner threw the fourth perfect game of the 2012 season, the second in extra-innings fashion. Through seven innings he only allowed one ball to be put in play, a groundout, which left him just one strike-out shy of the all K perfect game. So far Craig snuck up on the competition in the shadows of Tomlinson's bat and Phillips' arm, but this perfect performance will push him into a share of that spotlight.
The Ducks pioneered an awesome style of play this past Sunday, and Nick Braden led the charge. He debuted unique defensive alignments and pitching deliveries that evolved into wild, often legless batting stances among his teammates. For his part at the plate, Nick led off a game by calling a shot over the number 14 on the left field wall, and promptly got K'ed up. Then, later in the day he declared this is "all just home run derby now."
